Just joined a few days ago. Mainly because my family was sick of dieting together so we decided to diet against each other. We are doing our own little Biggest Loser challenge. My mom, my sister, and myself have all tried to work together on the same diet and failed. We decided we needed to tap into our competitive sides and fight against each other to win. We are still being supportive of each other but in a way that seams more productive. We have even laid out monthly prizes for who ever gets the most points. we get points for losing weight, keeping up a food diary, working out, drinking our water, and doing a weekly chore. we lose points for sabotage, being negative, or gaining weight. There is no dropping out because if one person was to drop out the other two fail because they were not being supportive or encouraging enough. I am hopping that even though we are dieting it turns into a lifestyle change and not just a diet.

    That sounds like a really amazing idea. I am losing weight as well with my mom and older brother. It's always great to have such a strong support system. I wish you all the luck in the world with your journey! You've found a great community to get involved with, and I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do.     Well if your Mom & sister don't know about MFP then you've got one up on them already! :laugh: It's a great site and lots of wonderful support. And I love your family challenge. Wish I could get some motivation going around my house too.
