Hello!
I've been stuck in a plateau for about 2 weeks and I don't know how to break It! (Even after bumping up my workouts)
I'm 5'2 165lbs and eat between 1200 and 1400 calories a day.
I boosted my workouts to one hour of cardio and the weights at least 4 days a week, but it still has not brought me over my hump. Any suggestions??

    There is no plateau.
You may be eating more than you think. Tighten up your logging.
Adjust your expectations. You lose more slowly as you get lighter.
You may be losing more than you think. Weigh yourself daily if you weigh yourself weekly.

    2 weeks...not a plateau.

If you are logging food accurately/consistently using food scale and correct database entries loss will happen, give it a few more weeks.

Your increased workouts are likely the reason for the scale sticking, you're muscles are holding on to water for repair - completely normal and that will pass.

e.g I got a new exercise bike for my birthday last month, this was a complete change of exercise for me as up until 3 weeks ago I mainly was a runner. My weight even in maintenance spiked up 2-3lbs for the first 2 weeks of that new regime. I knew it was water weight.

Be patient, keep tracking, keeping moving and weight loss will happen.

    All the best.
