how to go from 5k to sprinting?

Hi everyone,

I completed C25K and now I'd like to start sprinting. I love the idea of continuing CV exercise while building muscle. I am going to restart a compound lifting program that I really enjoyed & benefited from in the past (from aworkoutroutine.com).

So my question is how do I get started with sprinting? Are there any programs similar to C25K app for sprinting? Also, how will it fit in with my lifting program (that's 3x a week)?

    Do intervals.

    Any reason you want or need to increase your sprinting speed?

    Do a 1+ mile warmup, then start doing 200 - 400 m. fast intervals with equal time easy jogging. Finish by another mile easy.
