Hi!
I'm trying to lose 40+ pounds of baby weight. I was a vegetarian for many many years but ate meat with this pregnancy from docs recommendation.
Now the baby is here and I'm at my highest weight-ever!
I'm a former runner so will be running (slowly) and eating veg. Any friends/motivation/positive vibes welcome.

Welcome to MFP! Vegetarian for 25+ years here
There is a ton of good information in the forums, and I highly recommend reading through the pinned threads at the top of each forum if/when you have time. This is also a great vegetarian/vegan group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/45-happy-herbivores1 -
If you are breastfeeding don't forget to use the entry "breastfeeding -500 calories". You need more calories, plenty of water and a bit of calcium.0
