Weight gain question? Help

This weekend I weight myself and was 211.5lbs lost. Today I weighted myself again and was 222lbs. Can I have gained more than 10lbs in 3 days?

    Or no, you need a new battery in your scale.

    +10 in three days is pretty unlikely, unless you were incredibly unhealthy over the past 3 days (e.g., lots of salty food and alcohol).

    In case you're not doing it: you have to weight yourself at the same time of day in the same level of dress. I only track my morning weight after a visit to the toilet. You also need a reasonable scale. (I have this one from Amazon, $23. Not medical quality, but good enough for me.)

    Assuming it's correct, the weight could come back off nearly as quickly. Do some big work outs, eat light, skip the salt and alcohol, BAM!

    (Case in point: jogged an hour in warm weather on Monday, on Tuesday I was - 2.2lbs. It came right back the next day, of course.)
