Hi- I have lost 103 pounds over the last four years, I would like to lose 10-20 additional pounds to be at a "goal" weight.
I have recently joined MFP as my weight loss had plateaued the last 4 months and I needed something to change up what I was doing. I initially had my calories set to 1 pound per week, then pushed it to 2 pounds per week. The goal it is giving me is 1510 a day. I am pretty active, I have a sedentary job, but I go to Zumba, Yoga and walk. Lately I have been walking between 5-9 miles a day. ( 3-5 in the morning fast and then more relaxed walks during the day). My question is MFP doesnt know that I have lost all the weight I have, would my calorie goals be the same if I had been doing MFP the entire 4 years? The other question, am I being too ambitious, should I set it to 1 pound a week and eat more? Thanks!

What you weighed 4 years ago should not have an impact on how many calories you need now.
When you set up MFP, if you considered your exercise when selecting your activity level: then do not log/eat more for exercise. If you based your activity level only on your job/hobbies and NOT your exercise, then you can earn extra calories for exercise.
One thought: if 10-20 pounds puts you at a healthy goal weight, then a 2 pound per week target for weight loss may be too aggressive. How do you feel eating 1510 per day? If it seems to be not enough, then change to 1.5 pounds per week which should give you another 250 calories daily.1
