stretch marks!

i've gained two stone in the last year and a half and it's left me with horrible purple stretch marks all down my inner thighs and my hips.
i'm hoping these will eventually fade down, but has anyone found a way to either speed up the fading process or lessen the damage left behind? (ie the dents left)
i'm going on holiday later this year and, even if i lose a bit of weight, these are still so visible and it's horrible.

Things that are supposed to help:
HYDRATING good for the skin regardless of the problem.
DRY BRUSHING helps the texture of the skin, the cell turnover.
SCRUB when showering, to get ridd of dead cells. I use coffee grinds and sugar but use whatever you prefer.
MOISTURIZING It will not make them go away, as it cannot change the scar tissue into normal tissue, but it will make it better overall, less noticeable. Vitamin E, cocoa butter, shea butter, creams with collagen, etc.
DERMAROLLING skin-needling, a treatment with needles (yes, NEEDLES...) where the idea is to "fool" the body into producing collagen to renew the wounded skin tissue.
I do the first 4 things and will start in a few weeks the dermarolling.
Search information about these yourself and choose whatever is ok with you.
However, it's an accepted truth that no modern treatment is so advanced to complately eliminate those tissue patches, there just for reducing the appearance.

Forgot to mention something else that plays a role in helping. REDUCING THE AREA overall will make the patches look smaller and less noticeable too.0
