Owning up to it

Have to be honest with myself: I've fallen off track recently. I have been looking to food as a source of comfort which has resulted in me going over my weekly goal. My daily goal for maintenance is 1,850 + approx 70% of my exercise calories (I burn anywhere from 700 to 1,200 calories a day with exercise). I've found myself eating 2,800+ calories a day which has put me over my weekly limit by a few hundred calories.

I had my worst "binge" in the longest time a few nights ago (3,200 calories for the day). Instead of ignoring these bad behaviors I am going to hold myself accountable and GET BACK IN THE GAME. As someone who has dealt with disordered eating (both under eating and binge/restrict) I refuse to go back there...

Baby steps, right?

You and me both, bud. I've lost count of the number of times I've recommited and blown it lately.

    So frustrating!

If at first you don't succeed right?
I'm awesome at falling off the wagon and then getting back on. We all do it. Probably some kind of human thing. Yay for owning up to it though

Up ~9 pounds from January. Taking this as the opportunity to get back to it and put in work! Ideally I would like to lose 5 pounds or so by the end of August.

I happen to be at my lowest weight so far as of today, but my weight chart since November resembles a pogo stick bouncing along more than a roller coaster. Meh. I know the drill and just get back to the work the next day. I had my most recent binge, Saturday, early in the morning and managed to stop it and exercise it all away before bedtime, then weighed 2.4 lb less the next day. That was amusing.
