Here is my recipe for Chocolate Cake Waffles. The recipe calculator says 420 calories per.
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup Stevia in the Raw (the equal measure type)
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup unsweetened coco powder. (use special dark if you prefer)
1 large whole egg
1 cup 2% milk
1/4 cup oil (olive, corn, or coconut)
I like to add a diced extra ripe banana sometimes.
Makes 4 waffles in the Cuisinart waffle maker.
A little Agave nectar instead of manufactured "pancake syrup" is a nice touch as well.
