I work out total calories for whatever my goal is, then grams of protein and fat. I subtract those calories from the total and whatever is left goes to carbs.
I also alter carbs to create low/normal/high days during the week.1 -
Il try that out when I'm done with this plan.0

This is pretty much what I'm doing now. Averaging out to 140 g protein, 63 g fat, 218 g carbs right now. 28%/28%/44% for percentage people.0 -
My weekly average sits at around 40% carbs, 25% protein and 35% fats most weeks but it varies quite a bit from day to day.0

My goal is 40% fat, 30% protein and carbs. I fluctuate day to day but my weekly average hits within a couple percentage points of that.1

Right now I aim for an average of C:150-250 F:75-100 and P:130-150, I calorie cycle so I have higher carb days and lower carb days. To be honest though, I am not even really tracking/logging atm so I am just kind of winging it..0

I am T2Dm so I have to moderate my carbs. The best split for me that satisfies, fuels my body, and also keeps my carbs under 160 g per day is 35% carbs, 35% protein, and 30% fat.0 -
I am also a T2 diabetic following a moderate carb diet of 2000 calories/day with 30% from carbs (150 g), 30% from protein (150 g) and 40% from fat (89 g).

When I worked out protein and fat by grams it translated to about 40c/30p/30F so that's what I set my goal to. But I usually end up actually eating 50/20/30 or 50/25/25 so still working on it0
