So I just found out recently that I am pregnant with #2. I want to try to be healthy. Since I am overweight to begin with I thought, I will try to not gain much weight. I am 6 weeks and was thinking 2000 calories during the first trimester, 2100 during the second and 2300 during the third. The problem is that I get really sick when I stick to this plan . Gotta love being pregnant.

Stick with your maintenance calories for now and ask your doctor how much they would like you to gain/how much extra to eat in later months.0

I am 18wks pregi with my third. With my 1st, i gained 0lbs. With my 2nd a healthy 30lbs. However with this one, ive already put on almost 20lb and im not even half way through. Ive got to get my eating habits under control. Im going to try to maintain my weight at least until i get to the 3rd trimester. Then ill be happy to gain up to 10 more lbs.0
