Hello, I have been successful to lose almost 70 pounds in 8 months. Recently I have been gaining weight. I have been lifting heavy about 6 days a week for 90-100 min. and my clothes are getting looser. I follow a ketogenic diet and eat around 1200-1300 calories a day. I am 5'9 and at my lowest which was a week ago I was 148. Today I weighed in at 159. I'm very frustrated and I really don't know how to go about this. I did eat a pretty big sized dinner last night and drank about a liter of water throughout the night. I'm not sure what is happening and it scares me I am beginning to regain all my weight back.

11lbs is quite alot for either water weight or fat. It is 7% of your weight. Maybe your scale is not working properly? Or you moved it on a different surface? At your weight I would expect fluctuations of 2-3lbs at most.

You should weigh everyday by the way to avoid weird situations like this one.

I'm barely started my journey on this healthy life style, but I have taken the time to gain some knowledge about weight training. If you're trying to loose weight while lifting, is hard to go by the scale. You see, A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat. But the body fat is more "fluffy" and the muscle is more "dense and compact." Muscles take up less space in your body, so body weight may go up as you add compact, tight muscle mass, this might be the reason why your clothes feels looser. It never goes wrong to measure your BMI, this way you can see if the weight you're gaining is from fat or muscle. If you're going to use an electronic BMI device do it early after drinking a cup of water on an empty stomach. This would give you a more accurate result since the eletronic device sends a signal that travels your whole body from one arm to the other and depending on how long the signal travel to the other arm that would calculate your BMI. Hope this was helpful for you. Keep it up!

Muscle gain is going to be harder because of your low calories.
Water weight variations are going to be large when you factor in both new exercise and ketogenic diet.

However the important aspect is the part where you mention that "my clothes are getting looser" which certainly does not indicate FAT gain.

Your weight may be changing but that doesn't mean that your FAT is increasing.
