I've been overweight since I was in kindergarten. Bullied starting from the first/second grade. I knew the word diet far too young. The closest I got to success was many years ago on Nutrisystem where I lost about 30 pounds. I was at 180 and was so close to experiencing life in the exciting 170s and I just lost it. I'm not sure why but I did. I feel like I've done everything - Nutrisystem twice, Weight Watchers twice, South Beach Diet, MFP twice. I'm not sure what it's going to take for my mind to really get the "for real this time" moment. Maybe now. I'm going on a cruise at the end of September and as soon as that happened I knew I had to do something immediately. Bring a bridesmaid in a wedding didn't motivate me enough. Even a cruise last year didn't push me enough to stick with anything. I want to be healthy of course, but I want to stop hating what i look like in photos and what I see in the mirror. Hopefully this time will be for real.

Me too on the "here we go again." I became overweight in my late 20s, and 30 years later, I started my healthy eating plan again TODAY, quite possibly for the thousandth time. Will this time be different? People say you must believe it WILL, but how can I think so after failing so many times ?

Hey I would love to help you stay on track. First thing I would do is going the kitchen and get rid of all sugary food and majority if not all processed food. Then you would be in your way to a healthier you. You have to schedule your workouts your lifestyle has to change it's easy to say but it can be done @Christina2189 check out Roxanne's story on the MFP blog

Log accurately. Be consistent. Be persistent. Be honest.
