Male, 55 whose active lifestyle is taking a hit due to shingles. On my 4th week with it and think it is getting a little better :). I've figured out how to dress to get some lifting in. It sucks, but that's life. I was a member of MFP a while back and am supportive. Hope to be hearing from you!

    Wow...shingles is bad, glad to hear you are on the mend. I'm coming off a bacterial infection but after healthy 2 weeks my doctor wants me to get the vaccine (doesn't prevent shingles but they are not as bad if you get them). Sending a friend request :)
