NSV - First 5k in the books

I managed to do OK, finished in 26:30'ish - didn't compete as a racer, so going off the board when I crossed the finish line.

Like many others, I started out faster than I intended, but did OK as I usually run a mile or so longer. It was a very small race, less than 300, so it was a nice way to break in.

My next race is a half-marathon in Seattle next June. I reckon that will be a much different beast

Timed, but non-competitive, 5km every Saturday morning.

Great way to monitor progress.
