Cardio 4 times a week?

I love cardio! probably too much. so I am wondering if I'm doing it too often.
I tend to do the eliptical for an hour because sometimes i can't get a workout until it's already dark out, so the gym is an ideal spot. I live in a great walking city and don't have a car so I do walk around everywhere, I don't consider it my daily exercise, it's just part of my daily life and keeps me generally active.
Seeking opinions on my exercise regimen:
Monday - Cardio
Tuesday - HIIT / Circuit Training w/ weights
Wednesday - Cardio
Thursday - HIIT / circuit training with weights
Friday - Cardio
****Saturday - HERE IS WHERE I NEED YOUR OPINION. I want to do Cardio!!!! Is it ok to only do HIIT / Weights 2x/ week??
Sunday - rest day, but i do walk around all over the place
I don't know why i love doing the eliptical for 65 minutes, but i love it. i sweat, and i get out a lot of energy. I listen to great music and it flies by. i really just loooove it right now.
I've recently started eating "clean" which for me basically means i'm cooking at home with a lot of produce, eggs & chicken breasts. I can feel the new calorie deficit having a good effect on my body but I also want to continue to stay strong.
I wouldn't mind "visible abs" but i'm not trying to be a body builder here. I just want to keep moving in a forward direction and shed another inch or two, maybe drop another 2% of body fat.
thoughts? I love cardio SO much!!! I really just want to hop on the eliptical today (it's saturday) but I keep reading that i should be doing HIIT / weights 3x/ week.
I have a trainer, and I see him on tuesdays and thursdays. Next week I start "group training" with some friends, tuesdays and thursdays. the rest of the week all i want to do is cardio....should i be forcing myself to suck it up and do weights on my own on saturdays?

If you love the elliptical, do it!! You can do a few body weight exercises right after!!! Squats, lunges, push ups and crunches!! That's what I do on the days I run!!0

i wouldn't worry about cardio 4 times a week. if you enjoy it, do it.0

Do what you love0

Another option could be keeping the same number of cardio sessions, but making them intervals. I think its ok to do cardio as often as you want so long as you aren't getting injured in the process.0

Do what you like as long you are seeing the results you want. I love elliptical. There are days I stay on it for more than 2 hours. I enjoy cardio and I do it 7 days a week. I do add other strength training and weight lifting exercises on alternate days.0
