Round 2 was great, so here comes the next round of 3 pose two weeks yoga challenge.
Rules are simple, 3 poses, 2 weeks, you can either add a new poses or continue with a poses from the last challenge (i.e if you're working on more advanced poses).
The idea behind is to get non overwhelming intro into yoga and maybe to get a habit of daily yoga routine. Everyone is welcome to join!

(copy from the first round)
For all of you who are beginners in yoga and feel overwhelmed with it's complexity and so many poses (or maybe you are at advanced level but have some poses that you'd like to master) here is a simple challenge:

- Pick (only) 3 yoga poses that you want to learn/master.
- Daily do those 3 poses focusing on correct alignment.
- Log at this thread that you did it for a day :)

Looking forward to new round :) Any reflexions, suggestion, wishes, advices are welcome as usual :)

[If you like more the flow part of the yoga, instead of 3 poses you can also choose a mini yoga flow/sequence]

I am here, I will do the chair, triangle and start with the sphinx pose and work my way to the seal. I can do it, I just don't want to hurt my back, so taking it slow.

I am continuing with balance and hip strengthening poses :) My three poses for this challenge are:
    - Warrior I
    - Warrior III
    - Half moon

Here is a bit of inspiration:

A beautiful lady in her nineties practices yoga (she is not an old yogi, she started few years ago). She is a former ballerina though. She inspires me, not (only) because of her age, but I find her attitude toward life and body and movement so vibrant and beautiful.
She has this philosophy that body is a great instrument given to us and in order to keep it alive we need to play it every day :) She says that also for a mind.

    Week 1 Day 2 - done

I have been cleaning and trying to get ready for my company next week. I did manage to get the yoga done. It has been stormy here today, so a good day to stay inside. The next round of storms will be hit later this evening. Power better not go out, I want to watch that new show "Salvation" tonight.

We got like 3" of rain from it. My little pup hates thunder and lightning, so she was a wreck. I had a dog years ago that would hide in my shower during storms and cover his ears. He was a big 90lb golden retriever.

I did yesterdays, I just wasn't on here yesterday, just long enough to keep my daily streak going. I will do todays later.

Glad to hear your're ok and that storm didn't left any damage. I can totally understand how your dog feels like :D I am the same :)

I have lost track what day this one is. I have been doing them every day even if I don't have much time to be on here. I will be glad when this hectic week is over. I stress out big time, under pressure, but I have noticed the yoga does help some. Friday everything should be back to normal for me.

Amy I am sorry, I have totally failed this one. We had a construction work in the house this week, so whole floor was taken where I usually practice the poses. I didn't felt comfortable exercising in the yard with workers passing around. Above that I had knee pain that scared me a bit, and long story long I failed the challenge :( Sorry, that was really bad of me as a host.

I did my poses today, but I lost my track.

Don't worry about it, it was a busy week for me as well with house guests. I did mine this morning.
