1200 cal without exercise?

hi, im new here in fitnesspal , i saw a lot of people want to lose weight here like me, jus't want to ask some experience about 1200cal , im an asian and im from philippines , we eat a meal, like white rice and some dish like adobo chicken etc we eat it with rice ,now im eating 1 cup of rice 210cal and dish like adobo 200+cal and same on dinner and some snacks to get the 1200cal a day im 120lbs before getting pregnant after giving birth i weight 170 , and now after 3 yrs im 165 , i don't really like veggie i don't eat it all my life and i can't afford to buy it because we cook for our whole family as filipino, and i can't do exercise i never do it all my life ,my question is
can i get back to my old weight 120lbs? im 5'7 21yo without exercise and eating my meal 1200cal?
im not on a rush to get slim again i can wait i just want to know if 1200cal work for everyone? thanks
