I only log the weight of what I eat.

Log the portion you eat. I always slice my apples before weighing them so I don't have to worry about the core, but if you need to keep it whole to keep it from browning, weigh it before you go out and then weigh the core when you return.

Or just weigh the whole thing and don't worry about the core. To me that's too much work, and the calorie difference is negligible.

When convenient, I weigh the apple, eat the apple, weigh the core, and subtract. If I'm carrying the apple away from home, I count the whole thing or estimate based on size, depending on circumstances. Not a big deal, IMO.

I don't bother subtracting the core. It's not that heavy and I can always use the buffer of a couple uneaten calories. Now for a wedge of watermelon, I'll subtract the uneaten part

Depends if you usually just hold the apple in your hand and bite it till its all done. If you're having it nicely peeled and cored and laid out on a plate, then only weigh the bits that appear on the plate.

I agree. Definitely found the skin of a watermelon to be quite heavy, and should be subtracted from the weight to be entered in your MFP chart.

Apple skin and core is negligible in comparison.
