Anyone ever deal with this? Out of blue I got it from 2 weeks of antibiotics and doc put me on Nystatin rinse and I'm on my 3rd day of 14. Any tips?

Thanks to a childhood of asthma inhalers, I have lots of experience with it. Oral suspension Fluconazole was my doctor's medicine of choice. (it tasted disgusting)

Some people take probiotics for a couple of weeks after taking antibiotics. Antibiotics kill bacteria: good and bad.

Probiotics and apple cider vinegar! I've not dealt this oral thrush but rather nipple and milk duct thrush from nursing! I was put on oral pill antifungal but ramped it up by drinking 2 tablespoons of ACV and a good probiotic.

I get thrush, and not the oral kind... Whenever i take antibiotics, which i now avoid unless I'm on deaths door. To counteract the antibiotics side effects, also take a probiotic but make sure to space them at least 12 hours apart, or else the anti's will kill the pro's if taken together.

I know the horse has already bolted, but keep in mind for next time you're put on antibiotics.

You didn't get it"out of the blue" it's from taking the antibiotics and killing your natural gut bacteria. Take a probiotic, eat some plain yogurt. Apple cider vinegar can also be swished in the mouth, but it's not so good for your teeth. Yeast does not like an acidic environment.

The nystatin rinse will take care of it. Follow the instructions.

 How much longer do you have to take it?

With the probiotics, did you take them hours apart from your antibiotic?
