So fibro wears me out and just starting to track my food intake is wearing. I don't mind exercising but it causes anxiety because I never know when pain is going to hit. BUT I'm starting!

    Well, aren't you amazing!

Have you tried water aerobics at your local pool? Supposed to be easy going and good exercise.

I was reading some research that exercise frequently helps fibro - the more you do, the more you can do. I have lupus, and similar problems with getting anxious about flares. You just gotta do it anyway, good for you getting started! Getting started is the hardest part.

Tracking food gets easier as you go, and more of your favorites and recipes are already on your frequent list. It seemed pretty impossible at first but now I can cook a complex meal, weigh and log everything without even thinking about it. You'll get there!

Good for you! I have fibro too and I know how hard it can be when you are exhausted ALL the time. I am not sure if you have ever tried cutting gluten out of your diet but I recently just tried it and it has helped so much with my symptoms. I knew it was something that could help but I was too stubborn to try for a long time. After a horrible bout of flares I decided I had to give it a try. It has not been nearly has hard to do as I thought it would be, I would strongly suggest trying it if you never have. I have more energy in the past three weeks then I have had in years. Of course everyone is different, but it doesn't hurt to try!

I don't suffer from Fribro but I do suffer from chronic pain 24/7. I broke my back in 93. I've had 2 back surgeries and a neurostimulator implant for pain. I also suffer from chronic osteroarthritis all over. As you, I never know when I'll get excruciating pain. I do Tai Chi. It is very gentle to your joints and muscles. It does wonders for stress. Go to youtube.com. They have Tai Chi, Yoga, chair exercises at all levels.
