I know many people here may be in the market for a reliable HR monitor. Don't waste your money & time with one by PEAR. That is, unless you like to buy products that don't work at all (as in not even momentarily) from companies whose idea of customer support includes sarcastic replies to the frustrated emails* you send about it. If that's your bag, visit their site right away!
*Yes, I did send them a frustrated email. No, I do not curse or type in all CAPS or use any such offensive, juvenile nonsense to express dissatisfaction with a purchase.
