30 DS AND nrolfw stage 1?

I am halfway through stage 1 nrolfw but I'd like to add a bit of cardio on off days. I had decided a while back (before starting nrolfw) that I would do the 30 DS in August. Is is too much to do both? I really dislike pure cardio activities like running, elliptical, bike, etc. I am hoping the circuit training type exercise in the 30 DS will act as my cardio. If I keep my 30 DS weights to 5 lbs, will that interfere with recovery from lifting days? Thanks for your help! (Please go easy on me if this question is absurd)

I'm doing Starting Strength and also 30DS and I'm taking the weekend off from 30DS to rest. I lift on MWF, and I personally believe there is enough of a strength component to 30DS (if you use challenging dumbbell weights) to warrant the rest if you are also lifting heavy at the same time. I do other forms if cardio on Sat and Sunday, just not 30DS. :)
