I was being laid off the next day at 10:30am. My manager asked if I would be available after that to go over some things. I cracked up.

    My boss made me redundant 3 weeks ago, so I found a new job, then he's spent the last 1.5 weeks sucking up to me to go work for him and the person that's brought his business......na dude, this job pays twice as much as you pay and and less stress!!!!!

    Tell him to buy you dinner and meet at a time you desire. You know like at 9pm at night. Oh and make sure there's alcohol involved so he can give you the real reason why you were laid off.................then record it.

    I remember a co-worker who got laid off, given like 2 weeks notice or something like that. He came in everyday and read a book, never answering any questions.

    That happened to me 4 years ago and I still hurt as I was too old to get another job.
