It's *kitten* divine!

I used an organic, free from palm oil, non-creamy peanut butter, and an overripe banana (the kind that's normally only good for banana bread).

It is rather heavy on the calories. I weighed everything (after measuring in the cups) and got to 509 cals per portion. However, I find one portion too big and will next time split the recipe in to three instead of two, bringing it down to 340 cals.

But yes. If you like oats, banana and PB then I highly recommend this recipe.

There's not enough baby feline on MFP to describe the utter *kitten* deliciousness of this.

You could switch out the PB for PB2 or similar. I use it in my porridge, often with jam for a PB&J porridge and that is pretty darn awesome. You've reminded me to get some more and I'm also overnight oating at the moment!

Sounds great! I do steel cut oats in milk with apples and peanut butter - half a portion is something like 400 calories but surprisingly filling and weirdly does not spike my blood glucose at all (I'm a diabetic) despite being pretty high carb.

Peanut butter in oats is my favourite breakfast. I should try it with chopped apple since banana and I are not on speaking terms.
