What kind of exercises do you recommend doing at the gym?

My gym is a world gym, and they have cardio and weight training. I'm a female who's problem areas are the tummy, the thighs and the back. What exercises at the gym should I do? Also, is there any way to beat being so nervous? I'm always way too nervous to really do anything at the gym. I stay on the treadmill the whole time x_x
