lbs lost vs inch loss

Hi all,
So I am down almost 7.5 lbs and have lost about 3.6 inches combined (waist, hips, neck).
Which one is more significant?
I do muscle building classes at the gym and also a mix of cardio almost daily unless it is that time of the month....when it is all up in the air.
So thoughts?

I wouldn't say either is more important.
All depends on your goals and usually they come hand in hand.1 -
Inches any day of the week, noone gets to see the scale but you it's a personal measurement and doesn't take into account muscle and water weight vs fat loss but what you see in the mirror (ie inches) is what everyone sees. Well done x1

I've lost some weight and am happy about that. I have lost a few inches, especially around my waist. I'm liking seeing the inches go down, personally. I think the lost weight correlates somewhat to overall improved health, and the loss of inches is a way to see progress. If you're trying to build muscle or improve muscle definition, measuring inches might mean more to you. It's all up to you!1
