Bike computer for navigating

I posted a similar question in one of the groups, but thought I'd throw it out to the masses for more feedback.

I'm looking to buy a new GPS-based cycling computer. Any of them are going to be more than enough in terms of cycling metrics. The differences between manufacturers and models will be meaningful, at least to me, when it comes to navigation.

I want to be able to -
  1. preload a route and have the device navigate for me. I would like both a map view and a cue sheet view.
  2. enter an address on the fly (either from the device or on my phone), and have the device navigate me to that address.
  3. have an option for "back to start" from any point on the ride. In most cases, I will know the address of my starting point, so I could use #2 (above) to accomplish this, but having an "abandon ride" sort of option would be much more convenient.

Garmin is certainly on the list of possible devices (probably the Explorer 820), but is it worth looking at anything else? DC RM had really good things to say about the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, and I see some definite pros to it over the garmin (but also some cons).

I don't think there are that many people who have used all of your options and can give a meaningful comparison. I've done well with Garmin Edge into but they don't have an address input function, you clock a point on the map screen instead.

Forgot to mention that you'll find valuable input at bike forums.net for this.
