Hairdresser activity level?

Anyone have any idea what level of activity I should set myself at?5 hours at work+another 10,000 steps on top of that

    I think "lightly active" probably works for you. Examples MFP gives of "lightly active" jobs include teacher, and that seems similar in terms of hours and activity level.

    The additional steps might count as exercise, depending on what you are doing.

    Set it to lightly active. If you're losing too rapidly after a few weeks them bump it up. It really is all trial and error. You make your best guess and then adjust from there. :)

    I work in retail and I'm on my feet for hours at a time too. Plus I get in 10,000 steps a day. I have mine set to light activity. I'm not doing anything particularly strenuous at work except for days when merchandise comes in.
