Supplements, Vitamins, Etc.

Does anyone take any kind of supplements or vitamins to aid in weight loss? I'm not talking about things like hydroxy cut but something like green tea pills to boost metabolism. Just wondering if they actually work!

I will admit I used a half dose of a green tea pill for a while. I don't like tea, but wanted the benefits. I was awake all day, and I stayed motivated, so psychologically it worked. However, I've been off it several weeks now and still manage to be awake most days, and still motivated. Not losing as fast as I was but I blame the fact I changed my goal to one pound a week, and I don't have as much to lose.

I had a personal trainer who really believed in the power of caffeine! Other than that, I have doctors who tell me to take CoQ 10 because it's supposed to help your overall health. It's also supposed to help you recover from exercise more quickly and help in new cell growth. I've been taking it a few weeks now and I notice I am less sore when I try something new -- whether that's the CoQ 10 or just regular exercise, I don't know.

It's also supposed to help keep blood sugar levels lower and keep your heart healthy. (It can also make you more fertile, so be careful!)
