Bathroom Scale without Tempered Glass?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if any of you might be able to recommend a scale to me that doesn't have glass built into it?
I've noticed most of the popular models have tempered glass in some form or another, and I worry that I might be one of those select few who run into the issue of the scale breaking for any number of reasons.

I'd really prefer to NOT have to deal with broken glass from the scale exploding for whatever reason some users seem to be experiencing!

Most of the customers who reported the issue said that they would barely touch the scale, causing it to shatter, or that they'd hear it break while no one was standing on it/nothing fell on to it.
