Any other shorties out there?

Hi everyone!

I've just recommitted to my weight loss after getting the shock that at 140lbss I'm actually in the overweight category! I'd love to drop down to 110-120.

Problem is I'm 5ft so the creating a calorie deficit is tough! (I'm starting on 1100-1200 ). Any one else in the same boat?

Could do with a few more friends on here for accountability and motivation.

    I'm 5' as well (4'11" on a bad day :smiley: )... My goal is 110, but I have a lot more to lose than you. So right now I'm at 1440 calories until some of these first pounds come off...

    I'm there too... 4'11".....i WAS 180.... but now at 142 and a size 6...i still "over weight".... honestly, I'd be happy at 125.....its just getting harder and harder.... please add me.... I need more peeps in same situation

    Hey :) I'm 5ft 2" and started at 145lbs 7 weeks ago. I am down to 132lbs and having 1200 calories per day. I gain on average 250 exercise calories back per day and eat half of them :) I would like to get to 118lbs but my next mini goal is a stone...one more pund for a little win and I'll move on to the next :#

    That's awesome that you are a size 6 cuz I am trying to get there. My overall goal is 110 but it does seem like it's really hard to get there.

    Hello. I'm 5' (almost :p ). I used this app 5 years ago & reached my target in 5mths. I had lost 12lbs ( 118 -> 106). I slowly gained back some pounds over the years but didn't justify to take out my food scale again until I found myself hitting 115lbs a week ago.

    A few extra pounds does count especially for a shortie like us. Hope to be back to 106lbs by year end.

    I'm 4'10.5" and went from 142lbs to 107lbs with a caloric intake of 1140-1200 (higher if I exercised). Went from a size 6-8 to a size 0-2. My waist went from 30in. to 25in. in just over 4 months.

    I'm 5ft even. I just had a baby 2 months ago. I also have a toddler. So I starte at 142 after having the newest addition. So I'm at 1300 calories currently. I was pretty successful with my last one. I want from 140 to 120. I was very tone and happy. I'm hoping to get those results again

    Oh wow that's awesome!! I just want to be size 4 again but I need some new ways to burn more calories at a time. What did you do for exercise?

    5' even here too! My heaviest was 140 and I'm around 123 now, which is down into the normal BMI range (for what that's worth) but I'd like to get down to 110-115. First 15 were easy, last 15 are tough. Trying to eat 1100-1200 a day but I go over when it leaves me feeling deprived.

    I'm 5'1. My heaviest was 360 pounds. So far lost 70 pounds the past year and currently aim to hit 150 pounds, which should make me about a size 12 US.

    Yay we are at the same weight and have the same weight goals. It's so hard lol

    I'm 5'6 which is shortish for a guy. In 1997-98, I gained from 140 to 195 in about 14 months and carried that and more for 14 years. My heaviest was 247 in January 2012. Since then I've lost then hit a plateau several times. I got down to 172 in the fall of 2013 and slowly gained back to 207 by March 2016 when I had a wreck. Since then I've lost down to my current of 175 with most of that being in the last month. My goal is 155.

    I eat one large meal a day around 5-6pm with a possible protein snack after I work out in the morning. I walk/run six days a week and do bodyweight strength training three days. I also just added hitting the heavy bag on my strength training days. I eat from 650-1100 calories based on how I feel.

    I know it's not optimal for everyone but it works for me right now. Since I'm the only guy on here and a little taller, I'm not sure if you'll want to add me but I'm a very positive and encouraging person. Just thought I would share. And if you want to add me, I'll accept.
