So I've just started running again after suffering a knee injury. I ran slowly about 2 miles tonight but this happened...7l2q97ypbn1s.jpg

Unfortunately there is no specialised running shop nearby so asking here... what does the rubbing here indicate? High or low arches etc?

Poor fitting shoes or a rubbing sock seam, most likely. Put some moleskin around it (meaning that you cut a hole in the middle where the blister is) and you can at least walk, maybe even run a bit while it heals.
PS I'm not a trainer, sorry.

Probably your socks off a bit loose. Try a slightly tighter lacing

Yeah, start with you socks, although you may have to address your shoes as well. I don't think tighter lacing will solve the problem, especially where you're blister is. Stay away from cotton socks. For exercise I really like socks that have a bit of Lycra at them. They conform to your foot and prevent socks from moving around which is where you get into rubbing issues. Good socks don't need to be thick but spending few extra dollars can go a long way to preventing this sort of problem.
