Good workout yesterday although I realized my pace was slower than it should be. I need to stay focused and take shorter breaks.

Had plans to get a run in today but chickened out because of the heat advisory. Way too hot for a run.

Guys, hope you all show up here. Thanks Dave.

I am working this charity event, on my feet from 10:00 AM to Midnight, got to be doing something in terms of calorie burn. Yesterday morning, only free time, we had flash flooding so not a chance to run or CINDY.

Testing to see if the BBCode Color works too...

Keeping it short and sweet today. Actually, went for Abs which I've been avoiding for many months. This workout always burns. Stomach feeling good lately and did fine today. Woohooo!

Dave: Thanks for setting this up! This looks much more promising than the new BOD site. Good choice.

Braxo: Great job helping out there! That rain front was crazy here. We still have roads closed two days later.

KB: Nice workout yesterday. Congrats on getting your energy back!

I have a work trip to Provo Utah coming up Sunday, and my daughter's 10th bday Saturday. She's having some of her friends over to camp in the backyard yard. Should be amusing and good weather at least. Have a good one gang!

Finally managed to get outdoors today. Had a decent walk this afternoon.

Going to miss the old site. Hopefully this one grows as comfy as the old one. Now the mentions of Athlean and Jeff C won't get booted.

Sherry! Way to go. You have been keeping us in the dark. Way to go!

Dave: Thanks for starting this post. This may not be so bad. Already missing the supergym and I haven't used it for some time. So now to figure out how to get notifications set up.

Sandy: Can't wait to hear about the next HM.

Braxo: So how many people are taking pictures with you at your event?

John: Enjoy Provo. I spent a summer in SLC back in 96. Worked in that big hole in the mountain on the other side of the city. Cool museum at the university if you have time.

KB: time to get back in the groove.

About all I had time for this morning. As long as I keep staying smart with the diet, these concentrated workouts are still working for me....

Sherry: Congrats on rocking the Beast Classic competition! You look outstanding!!! All that hard work has definitely paid off.

D : Thanks for the tip on SLC/Provo! The rental cars were ridiculously expensive, so just using local shuttles. Should still be able to walk to BYU. Will check it out. Hopefully, can find a free hour somewhere. Giving 4 talks at this conference. Will be busy...

    Have a good one!

Late start today. Smoke detectors scared the bejesus out of us last night about midnight. Just heading down the hall to go to bed and they all went off, they are interconnected, started in the basement so I'm freakin out looking for smoke/fire. Thankfully nothing was smoking near those detectors so I started running through the house checking rooms, garage, roof, closets, etc. Talk about a ticker check. Heart was beating hard. Started pulling batteries out of detectors then unplugging detectors until they stopped. Went shopping today to replace a detector. Now to install them.

So, I hit the trail near noon. 85 degrees, at least it was tolerable.

    Checking in early tonight.

12 miles & 40 minutes of yoga. Not quite as hot as last weekend, but still pretty toasty out there -- totally jumped in the pool afterwards.

I haven't been on this site in months since I gave up tracking calories, so I created a new identity.

John: Great job with those workouts, especially getting abs in! Have a safe trip & happy birthday to your big girl!

Darrel: It's good to see you out on the trails again!

KB: Come on over. All the cool kids are here now. ;)

Dang Sherry! Lookin' good! How did it go last night? And how long did you wait to get that close to Tony?

Braxo: I hope your event is going well. And so glad there's an emoji here for you. B)

Dave: Have I told you how awesome you are lately?

Sooo Cool. Tired from previous day (drinking in the beer tent I manage) and late night closing up. But son here visiting so I asked if he would join me in CINDY. Then text my nephew who is visiting, also a Marine. Last time I saw Time he was 160 lbs. Now 210. We all went up and did Cindy together. Son wanted his music on the Bluetooth speaker, it was same as mine.

Sherry, man you have me thinking. I checked out a local contest in Buffalo May 2018. Would need help with a coach but something to keep me going. But now that you did this, maybe need to look harder at it. Not looking for the improved mom butt, but the goal and objective. You look great, what an example for your kids. Awesome job

D - still getting used to this, need to save this as a favorite or something so I can find it easier.

    Accountability: Sun 7/16: Run

3 mile run at a slow pace. I notice when I run it seems like I keep a similar pace to most of the people I see. You guys set the bar way too high.

No workout yesterday. My son at age 19 finally wanted to learn to windsurf so I was happy to take him out and teach. It's a tough sport to learn so we will have many more days out there if he sticks with it. I got to sail the last two days too. It's been and incredibly good two weeks. Today starts a few days of light wind.

Braxo: You are definitely keeping up with the youngins. Don't take this the wrong way, but you have a huge chest. :-). How did you put that size on?

The color HTML code requires an opening and closing bracket on both the color and ending forward slash color. I just put color=red which should work. I'll find out when I save.

Next to the thread title select the star to add to you favorites. Then you. En get to it when you select community the Motivation and support. Let me know if there's a way to get to it from your home screen.

    After today's run.

I created a group and invited you all to it. This would allow us to post privately within our group. Let me know if that's what you want to do. We can have multiple discussion threads and an event calendar too. You can also mark it as a favorite for quicker access.

ACCOUNTABILITY: SUN 7/16/17 3.5 MILE RUN, 1/2 CINDY IN AFTERNOON WITH 20 LBS VEST

Dave, chest has a lot to do with DNA. Father was small like me but looked good with little effort. Sons same. Wife commented she saw my youngest (24, never work out) walking with my middle son and myself and noted from back, shoulders look the same. Lucky me in terms of chest, forget the legs, always chicken

Sandy, what is meaning of your symbol?

All, would like to be included in the group. New here. 47 year old male making some changes. Wife is going thru breast cancer and I need to clean my act up to be here for my family. She's done with chemo, so numbers are improving. Surgery pending in about 2 weeks. Thoughts and prayers appreciated. Just started at lifetime. Workout during lunch. At 276 today on the scale. Work 2 full time jobs, so time is precious. Currently using endomondo for workouts. Feel free to friend me. Will make sure my nutrition here is public. Appreciate it, Jim Connell.

Hi Jim. I went through the same thing as you in 2008 when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was fortunate I was not working two full time jobs. I can't imagine doing that. She is now cancer free and we are still both working out 5-7 days a week. I'm sending you an invitation to our accountability group. Our group has been together for over 7 years for some of us.

ACCOUNTABILITY: 7/17: 1/2 Hotel Room CINDY Variation

Hey everyone. Out in Utah at my annual crazy busy conference. Today went fine. Giving two talks tomorrow morning and I think I might finally be ready. Did find some time this morning (while ironing shirts and pants) to fit this in....

5 rounds of a 'Hotel Room CINDY' variation: 10 hand stand pushups + 20 diamond pushups + 30 sumo squats

Not a long workout, but the hand stand work as fun. Haven't attempted that in a few years. Will try to get to them again this trip. Running a 5K Thursday evening too. Should be ugly at elevation and in the heat out here.

Jim: Welcome! Sorry to hear about your wife. Good to hear she's improving. Hope you can find a little time to take care of yourself. Just a little exercise and better diet choices can go a long way.

Will try to some shout-outs soon. Have a good week everyone!

Had the morning available but had to wait for a phone to arrive, never did. I am in Bogota through Friday with a phone that may or may not work depending upon its mood. New one arrived, will need to activate over weekend before leaving for Jakarta.

Gym here has dumbbells up to 15 lbs. one of those machines with double plates so will try and improve the BEAST. Want to get back to doubles after a week of working the charity event

Dave, struggled to find the other message board. Will continue. Maybe send me a link?
