Hey guys. I have been on and off of MFP for about a year. What has happened is that one week I do good, the next week I do awful. The result is that my weight has been maintained. I have not lost or gained any. What are ways to inspire myself to keep going when I am not motivated? Thank you!

Make small changes one at a time so that they are integrated into your daily plan and don't feel like you are doing something special.
Don't attach feelings or moral labels to your progress. Rather than "good" or "awful", think on-plan or off-plan. Off-plan is a choice, not a moral failing. Each moment is a choice. If you get off-plan, don't beat yourself up about it or give up because you weren't perfect. Instead, just get back on-plan right away.
Experiment to find a way of eating that's comfortable for you while still having fewer calories. Smaller portions and/or satisfying substitutions rather than giving something up forever.3
