Another 1200 Calorie Question

Simple question but can't seem to find the answer on the net.
Does any BODY burn less than 1200 calories a day? Let's say I was really short does it stand to reason that I may burn less than 1200 calories a day? I guess I want to know how long a 1200 Calorie diet might support a deficit... maybe if the person was 120lbs?
I know this is silly, I just wonder at what point might my weight loss taper on a 1200 Calorie diet.

A few women would, but they would most likely be shorter, older, and inactive.

Your loss will decrease regardless because your body will be burning fewer calories as you lose.

This is me. The shorter, older, sedentary woman.
    My deficit at 5'1, 130 lbs, 54yo was 1200 to lose 1lbs a week.

It took a year at 1200 with 200 then 175 cals for exercise added to lose down to 100-105.

1200 was also my MFP sedentary maintenance cals at 55.

You can lose down from 120 on 1200 plus exercise, it is slow going.

    Cheers, h.

If 120 is your weight, take it slow. Don't cut your cals lower, do eat back your exercise cals.

If you are unhappy with your body shape start some type of strength training, it will help with muscle retention and resculpting your body.
