What if 'face' can't lose anymore weight, but body can?

What if it looks like your face can't lose anymore weight, and is at its 'slimmest and fittest,' but you still have a belly pudge and fat on your chest and sides, etc. Will exercise and diet burn continue to somehow get rid of fat on the face that you didn't know was there? or will it now get rid of the fat elsewhere that still exists?

Just wondering.

Where and when it comes off is all a crazy mystery. Good luck.

Interesting topic. My face is already very thin to me. I joke and say I need botox now that I have lost so much weight. However I am no where near skinny. For me it is about getting used to my new face.

Oh thank goodness I thought I was the only one! I seriously looked up options for a while, but I'm beginning to get used to it.

If you are a woman, there are ways makeup can make your face look slimmer. So there are probably ways to make you face seem fuller. Also hairstyles and jewelry (earrings) can make a big difference. I bet the new you slimmer face is beautiful. Like the above posters said, it may be just a matter of you getting used to your new face.

I always lose on my face, chin, ribs and back before my hips lower belly and butt/thighs. I love it as i lose the chubby face and then i start losing elsewhere afterwards. I think your face will be fine but if you don't like your thin face...that's a different problem only solved by weight lifting to increase your neck and trap size or cosmetic surgery!

The French say that you have to choose between the body and the face in beauty when you get older. (young body= less fat, young face=more fat)

This is so true IME. I'm 41 and 5'7". I've realized if I go below about 128-130, my face starts looking older and more wrinkled. Not flattering. That's why I decided to recomp instead at this point since my BF% (estimated) is still higher than I would like (stubborn belly fat), but I really don't want to get any thinner in my face, chest, or lower legs.

When I was at my slimmest a few years back my face had lost too much fat but the rest of my body hadn't.
It was starting to look like I was sick. The curse of being a male with large cheekbones.
