Huawei Fit not syncing?

So on my Huawei Health app is says connected to MFP but MFP app has no mention of it being connected? Can anyone help?

I really like my husbands Huawei, and was excited to get one when my phone needed to be replaced. It got sent right back when I found that it was incompatible with my fitbit. I didn't even get a chance to play with their fitness app. Maybe google compatibility. I hope you are able to make it work!
