At first I had a goal weight, but now I'm having trouble imagining myself at the weight. How do you figure out your goal weight? I'm probably 5'4-5'5 . I thought I wanted my goal weight to be 160-155 , but now I'm thinking 140. Anyone around this height, what's your goal weight?

I would have a vague idea about where I wanted to be, and evaluate as I go (or once I got there)

I'm 5ft5, and went from 176lbs to about 120lbs. At the start I thought I'd get to about 140ish - I hadn't been that weight for a long time. I got there and kept going... Goals and hobbies have changed, and I'm now 136lbs, but more muscular.

I'm 5'4.5 and currently 137lbs. My goal is 125lbs. Trying to do maintenance this week but a 0.7lbs gain has me freaked so back to 1200 calories next week!

I really don't have a goal weight. I'll stop when I am done.

@GrumpyHeadmistress, what did you think would happen when you ate more food? 0.7lb is miniscule. Did you track your weight every day?

I'm 5'4". I don't have a goal weight. I have a goal physique. I have been as low as 128 and though I'm itty bitty at that weight, I can't maintain it. I can maintain my physique around 135-140 easily. 133 would be ideal but maybe not worth the struggle.

@livingleanlivingclean Logically I absolutely knew that eating 440 calories a day more would cause an increase in water weight but after 18 months I just wasn't prepared to see the scale go up. I just have 12lbs more to lose and then I'm ready to have a target zone rather than weight.

Im 5ft 3 so a bit shorter my goal was 125 but im chiming in because im 135 right now and i love my body. Really depends on your body shape, Im very curvy so i feel i carry the extra weight well. Most people aim for low-mid healthy BMI im right near the top. Kinda just gota go and see where you like to be
