Dieting for a month and stopped losing??

I have been on a 1200 calorie diet for about a month. I've only had one day that I went over my calories and it was only over by 200. I was losing weight constantly for the first two weeks but these last couple weeks I have been stuck at about the same weight. Am I doing something wrong? Still not at my goal!

More information required. Height, current weight, goal weight, details of how you are measuring your food intake.4 -
How are you measuring your intake? What are your stats such as current weight and goal weight?
The generally accepted answer to your question is you are either eating more than you think, burning less at exercise than you think, and expecting results in too linear a fashion.
Someone will come along and post the flowchart in 3....2....1....1 -

Many people forget (or unaware of) the 4-6 week dieter's start-up water weight cycle (doesn't happen to everyone, but it happens to a large portion)- You start eating at a calorie deficit so the body drops lots of water in addition to some fat
- after a few weeks, the body goes "oopsie, I think I need some of that water back, feeling a bit dehydrated" so you retain more as the body regulates itself. You are still losing fat but the scale doesn't show it
- A couple of more weeks and your body goes "well, I have enough now and I think I will stay at this level" so you are no longer retaining additional water. The scale starts dropping again.
Give it about 6 weeks and see what your average weight loss has been at the end of those 6 weeks. If you have been on target calorie wise, your average weekly loss should be close to your target results too.
In the meantime, make sure you are weighing all solids and semi-solids and measuring liquids so you know now many calories you are actually eating. Make sure you are logging everything that goes into your mouth.1 -
I agree with @earlnabby . They key is to drink a lot of water. You will find that weight loss is not linear. The whoosh effect is real. I have read articles about this, as your body burns fat cells it replaces those cells with water. At some time when your body realizes it doesn't need that water any longer it will release it and you will have a sudden drop in weight. So the weight you lose today was probably fat that was burn off a few days to a couple weeks ago.
Another reason that people stop losing weight, other than sloppy logging, is that they don't update their daily caloric targets. As you lose weight, your TDEE also drops. If you don't lower your caloric intake goal, you end up getting to a maintenance situation instead of deficit. At only a 1,200 target, I doubt this is the case.1 -
In addition to what was already mentioned: Did you start a new workout routine? Close to TOM?0
