I don't know what setting I should use for activity level. I currently have it at lightly active. I circuit train at the gym 3X a week and average 10-15K steps daily. However on weekends I just do day to day stuff and average 5-7K steps. Thoughts?

MFP's TDEE allotments are extremely generous.

If you do some research you will see that there is at least 6 or 7 calculators online all based on different algorithms or blends of them.
( I am quite sure there are more. )

I stick with Sedentary on MFP and when compared that seems about the middle of the range of all the rest.

In the grand scheme of things I don't think it matters really.

In the long term which is what we are really talking about you are going to develop your own data and know what your TDEE is just by default.

As you approach your goal weight you will have to determine how large your calorie intake can be to maintain that weight.

You mention your gym workout but do you realise that's not part of your activity setting on here?
It specifically excludes purposeful exercise as MyFitnessPal isn't a TDEE calculator.

Suggest see what happens on your current setting over an extended period of time then adjust if required.
