Back asswards from most people that prep for summer. I don't have time for the beach, so I prep for winter activities instead to help prevent injuries and exhaustion during snowboarding. First time back on here this year. I'm not too active on the community section because I feel socially awkward here, but figured I would show my face since I've been on here for a few years. I've gotten back up to 16% body fat after buying a car and stopped riding my bike for the winter days of early sunsets. Working back down gradually with an end goal of 10%. I don't really care about the weight because as long as its muscle, who cares what the weight is.

I've been eating at a deficit for most of this year, but my body has grown used to it and just doesn't care anymore. Recently started intermittent fasting and it has brought back my joy in dieting. I once again have that empty stomach feeling like I once had when I first started dieting, and it makes it easy for me to do fasted cardio without having to wake up early in the morning. It also makes it extremely easy for me to feel full and satisfied shoving in all the calories within a 6 hour window.

I don't eat throughout the day, do my fasted HIIT right after work, eat my first meal right after at 5pm, and hit the gym again later that evening for weights and endurance cardio. It might sound like a bit much, but I live a quarter mile from the gym, so its a 2 minute bike ride and sure feels nice being the only person there at 10pm to play my music out loud with no ear phones. More of a get away than a chore.

I have plans to change my routine once I start to plateau on my weight limits, but I'm still figuring things out like a good calorie limit for both losing weight and keeping energy, and want to build a nice base before I work on different weight routines.

Anyways, shout out to anyone in Southern MD up to PA or NY. I love to mountain bike and snowboard, and look forward to getting into rock climbing, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding, so hit me up if you want me to shoot a message your way whenever I'm travelling past to do one of the things. Outdoor adventures are more fun with more people :)
