I've always been someone who takes pride in my appearance and ate as healthy as I could and exercised whenever I've had the chance but recently having undergone a series of life changing events I've found myself falling into a depressive, anxiety filled state and eating my emotions away. I've gained a few kilos and really disappointed in myself as this isnt at all how I should of handled myself. I've fallen into a slumber and can't seem to get myself out. As much support and help go get motivated again.

There are quite a few posts here from people dealing with both anxiety and depression, both short and long term, and how it impacted their health and fitness goals.
I went through something similar to you, having been at healthy weight most of my life but having life issues take my focus towards other more pressing issues for a period and gaining some weight along with letting my health slip for that period.
Glad to see that you seem to have turned the corner towards getting your health back into focus and making changes for the better, and best of wishes on your journey.0
