What should I set my 'activity level' as?

I was wondering if you all could give me your opinion on what I should set my activity level as for my daily calories to lose weight.

I work retail and I'd say that I walk about 5 miles on average 4 days a week plus lifting and carrying things. Lightly active or moderately active?

    Put it in at light activity.
    Assess after 4-6 weeks. If you are losing too fast or too slow, as per your goal, adjust your calories accordingly.

    A digital scale for all foods will help with accuracy.

    Moderately active sounds good. That's about what I do in my retail job each day.
