Hello. My name is Roz & I'm new to this portion of this site. After having a bout last year with ovarian cancer which came out of nowhere, and has since been removed, I need to get into shape and stay in there. I've been consistently active but the weight isn't coming off as fast as I'd like it do. I know that's my own fault due to poor eating habits. I am looking to make new friends who are interested in motivating and supporting each. This weight loss struggle is real but we have to keep trying and not give up. So my mission is to be Sexy by Summer, next Summer that is and become a healthier me so please add me and I'll do the same. Make it a great day.

From what experienced people on this site have written, the key is never to give up. So even if you screw up (and I'm a terrible evening snacker), just keep logging everything, keep giving yourself the chance to start again without beating yourself up. You must have had a horrendous year, but keep focused on your goal and remember that any loss is good...doesn't have to be dramatic! You can and you will be that beach goddess!

@rozmh Be sure and keep the weight loss reasonable. I do not know how much you have to lose but anything more than 1% per week is unreasonable so you can work that out. Since any way I try to describe the need of people losing weight needing to lift weights gets somebody to push the "woo" button, I'll just refer you to the Success Stories and see the pictures of the Sexy women, that's your terminology, and read their stories and note the high frequency they tout weight lifting.
