Wondering how many calories could be burned standing for 6 straight hours, with minimal walking. Any general idea? I'm 5'11 186 lbs. trying to figure out what to enter for today.

Personally I wouldn't log that as extra calories burned.

Is it like for cashier work or something? I used to stand like 12 straight hours sometimes for my old job at a gas station but I wouldn't have logged it as exercise, maybe just as a higher rating than sedentary on my daily movement.

If it does not pump your heart up it's not exercise

HRM is not meant to be worn all day. Your results will be very inaccurate. I would bump your activity level from sedentary to active rather than trying to log it. You are going to have a very difficult time getting any accurate idea of what you are burning.

Don't log it, keep within your calorie goal and be pleasantly surprised if you hit your weekly goal a bit early. The extra calories burned are probably very minimal.

Also, get a nice foot massage. Six hours is a long time to stand.
