I am not 100% certain what how the function that takes my exercise account works. My daily staring calorie max is 1,500 calories. By the end of the day, let's say I've eaten 1,200 calories and walked 5,000 steps. MFP tells me that after taking exercise into consideration, I am 200 calories over budget.
I kind of get that it's telling me I didn't hit the required exercise goal to allow me the full 1,500 calories, but it seems a bit off to me. For example, yesterday I played 90 minutes of tennis, which MFP equates to burning 800 calories. I walked a fair bit in addition, although less than 2 miles. By the end of the day, the program subtracts 200 calories from what I'm allowed to eat.
Is anyone else using this function?
