Left side is what I looked like on New Year's Day. Right side was yesterday. No fad diet, no magic drink, no meal replacement shakes, no pills. Just plain dieting: weighing everything I eat, logging it all, and rarely cheating. 70 lbs. lost. Diets only work when we do.nggbscj2egld.jpg

Niiice! Did you work out at the beginning? What I'm asking is did exercise play a big role in your journey?

Great job!!! I love the no magic part! We only get out what we put in, right?

In answer to thazenwilliams: exercise has played a very small role in my weight loss. I've only begun visiting a gym this week, and over the last few months I would ride my bicycle an average of maybe 20 miles per week. Losing weight is the result of eating fewer calories than we burn. If you try to lose weight by concentrating on exercise instead of holding yourself accountable for the food you eat, you will fail every time - unless you're an 18-year-old athlete.
