Hello, I am 129lbs and im trying to lose 13lbs and i have a questain about my stationary bike
I can bike for minutes 25 minutes and burn 125 calories so if i do this for an hour i would burn 500 calories and i plan to do this two times a day morning and night and im just wondering if it would be effective other than that i eat completely clean like no processed food no sodas no baked goods and bread just fruits vegetables and meat and eggs and beans
just looking for some opinions on what I should do(:

Check your math...you will burn a little more than 250 cal in an hour. Otherwise, the more less-processed foods (fruits, veggies) you eat rather than processed foods such as white breads, the easier it MAY be to lose weight. The bottom line is when calories burn are more than calories consumed, you will lose weight.0

If you like cycling, it's a great exercise to do! I love it, therefore I do it a lot.
You need to do exercises that you enjoy or you wont keep doing it. I find cross training is great as you don't get bored. Like running, cycling, swimming and loads more.
Good luck!
P.s I agree with Ophidion, Heart rate monitors are great so you don't over estimate your burns!0 -
where can i get a heart rate monitor that is cheap?0

Polar FT4, Garmin 110. Either would be a decent low-end of the product line but still decent quality choices.
Where to buy? I usually by locally from REI (www.rei.com) because of the easy return policy. Online? Good question, Google ?0 -
You could get a used one from eBay0

Chances are it won't be very good for that price. Does it have a chest strap? You need to have that or else it will be a waste of money.0 -
