Hi my name is Amber 33 F from Tx. First time using this app. I have struggled with weight since I was about 12-13 I was a small kid but once puberty hit I was fighting the battle. I have been put on every sort of diet, I have seen a dietitian, and have taking OTC and prescribed weight loss pills. I will lose weight but it all comes back and rapidly. That is why I am doing it this time all natural. The highest I have been was 308 and that was in 2015. Since that day I changed my eating habits. I stopped eating fast food. I stopped frying crap. I buy organic when I can. I had lost 40 lbs. just changing my diet since then. Now the weight has stopped coming off and was very challenging to maintain my weight. My biggest weakness was sweet tea that is all I have drank for years besides water. I haven’t had a sip of sweet tea since mid June. I only drink water now. I have been exercising since May but my weight was not coming off so I knew it had to be something. I stopped the tea and started drink 6-8 16.9 oz. bottles of water per day and feel so much better for it and my skin feels great for once. When I got the app I started counting my calories and realized I wasn’t eating much. I used to never eat lunch or breakfast just dinner. So I started making sure I had snacks and food to eat all day at work. When I started that my weight had finally started to come off. I weight 283 when I started this journey and now at 272. I would like to reach 199 which is what I weighed my sophomore yr. in high school. I’m looking to lose 5 lbs. per month, exercise every day, be more active, live a healthy lifestyle and maintain everything once I do get to be where I want. Looking for friend to help keep me motivated and stay on track. Thanks!

    If you made it here you are def on the right track!! Im in the same boat! Love the food diary and the community MFP offers! I just started going to the gym 6 days ago, every day! Down 4lbs so far but my 1 week weigh in is this saturday! Hoping to make it to 5! Lol jeep counting calories and exercising

    I have been using Fitness Pal off and on for about 6 years. When I started my journey I weighed 254 lbs and now I weigh 148. Now it only took appx 2 years to get down to my lowest which was 125. I have put about 30 lbs back on and I realized I don't want to be in the same boat. Soooo, I am back on the band wagon again. I lost all of my weight with 0 processed food. Fresh veggies, protein, high good fat, ( its called ketogenic lifestyle) and I say lifestyle because I loathe diets. When I started appx 1 week ago I weighed 158 and have lost 9 lbs.     You get this. Before my jr. yr. I weighed 145. I got made fun of my weight. I started to become bulimic. With a lost of support and help I was back to my old self. I was still a little over weight me and my mom went on a diet. We used plexus and MFP I lost a lot of weight, I'm at 110 right now and I'm 19. I believe you got this. Hope you get to your goal and have a healthy journey
